The plotter now works fine with this version as well. I then booted up from the current hard drive. (So the "test print" may not be the best indicator to determine if the plotter is working.) I could print architectural drawings, but still received error 0x0000007f when attempting a test print from the Printers and Scanners interface. (Window 10 version 1909) This seemed to work. Next, I booted from an older cloned version of my hard drive to try an older Windows version from a time that the plotter was working fine. However, I still received the same 0x0000007f error when trying to send a test print. ![]() I removed a USB extension cable from the printer-to-USB cable and connected it directly to the printer. I think the problem was just a worn printer-to-USB cable?Īlthough everything seemed to be connecting fine through the USB cable, when sending a test print the "printer status" would briefly flash the "offline" message while sending the print to the queue. ![]() I tried updating to Windows 10 version 21H1, but this did not make any difference.
